you have inspired me to buy a greenhouse and to go forward with the plans I have made. Thank you
you should look into the frixion erasable pens they are amazing and they don’t smudge. your video is excellent !!!
OMG I found it! Lol ππβ€
Very informative video. Thank you. Also you look absolutely beautiful for your party, you clean up well.π
You look absolutely gorgeous ( Merry Christmas ππ·
I love when you talk about your journaliing. It is so inspirint! Love it!
π₯°π
Have you considered using the frixion eraseable pins in your planner?
They come in lots of different colors
I use Word document and have all plants in my garden and plant tag info and then I add when plants start blooming, are in full bloom, and when they stop blooming. I have diagrams and pictures of all plants in bloom. I also put down when plants due and why and keep this info. I save this list and copy info for all future years so I can see when bloom times change and if I move any plants etc for reasons such as sun exposure due to changes made such as having to remove tree etc due to harsh winds not under my control. I also list any pest or diseases that have occurred and what I did to overcome them with dates listed and what I did. I do like the planning journal as it is more mobile than taking laptop outside. I do put all seeds and house plants in this journal and track there progress, such as watering, pruning, etc. Just put everything done so I know when I did something. I track rain and snow so I know if I need to water. It helps remember and track from year to year. Love your planner as I jot things down so I don’t forget to update my Word document online. Also if I share plants with others I can provide information and pictures of plants. Thanks for providing your info about planner etc. It’s hard to remember all the plant info etc.β€
Great ideas for planning β€.
Great insights. Thanks! I love the flexibility of your system. I do want to keep a journal. My problem is that I often feel tongue-tied because I don’t know how to refer to different spots in the yard when I try to record what is planted in which bed, or which planter I’ve added bone meal to, etc. Ideas welcome!
Look at you β€
You look beautiful (but then again you always do!)! Question- where can I buy supertunia vista bubblegum seeds at? I love proven winners plants, but they are expensive when you buy as much as I NEED (ok, so itβs a want lol).
Thanks
I use a giant 12 month wall calendar. Like a wall map of time. Chunk off days as rough estimates for starting, planting, watering, fertilizing, IPM; marking specifically when itβs done. Easier to see the 90-100 days to harvest type stuff. Then transfer the year over into a short outline, lessons learned type thing. Wipe the lament and star a new year. It has gotten easier to fill it out with what and when. The science of Gardening naturesβ art.
Love your journal. You look lovely!πβ€
This video is so timely! I just messaged your sister yesterday when she was going to restock!π Thanks for all the info. I have so enjoyed your videos this past year since I found you. Have a wonderful Christmas!
You look beautiful.
Girl, you know I just garden by the seat of my pants and am not very disciplined. So, being that we are in similar growing zones, I tune in to your videos to see what you’re doing and follow suit, so, you’re my organizational journal and I learn so much from you. You look amazing today in makeup and decked out for your holiday party. Hope you have a wonderful time and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Hi Amanda! I also use a Happy Planner for my garden journal. I take pics of my plants/projects and write the general specs of the plant in my journal then I write how it performed in my own garden. I use the Kodak mini printer to print pics from my phone. I love it! I thought it might be over the top to add pics, but it really helps me to remember things. Iβm glad Iβm not the only one. Happy New Year!!
You look lovely!
Dang girl. I didnβt even know that was you. ππ½
I use an HP Sprocket to print out small photo stickers. It works great for my planner and journals. Thank you for the really great ideasβ€
Very intriguing journal. Merry Christmas!

Love the thoughts on your Gardening Journal. I get pretty calendars for myself and a few extra for family. I sticker them on the dayβs of special information Birthdays etc. I have done this for years. I also enjoy the creativity of picking certain themes for the events.
I love your gardening videos.
I bought one of those photo printers for a friend and she loves it. Great idea for plants!
Also you look breath-taking all "dolled" up! But I love you just as you are in the garden mess most!
πππ Thank you so much. I just purchased a gardening planner online. It’s web based. I’ve been tryin to figure it out for a week now, and I just can’t get it to work for my needs. I can get a refund. I do have a garden journal, planner, & log book. Been using it for 2 years. I started it for my vegetable garden, since the flowering thing I usually failed at. π But not now!! ππ The 1st thing I did was actually add color by coloring the designs that are on every page. Its just a black and white book. Then I added color photos from off my cell phone to it. I’m a weather nut…lol and it has a weather log that I like to check and compare last years data with this years for planting purposes. I do make notes of my garden experiences..good or bad. It has graph pages to draw your garden plans on. And I love watching for wildlife since Im a birdwatcher. So it has a wildlife log I record on. I’ve been trying to figure out if I want to keep my vegetable garden planner separate from the flower planning. And l think I will set up a new planner like yours just for flowers. I love the post its idea. Then I can take both journals outside with me. I can sit under my shade tree while writing my notes, watch my gardens grow, and do bird recordings at the same time. Thats the way I did it last year. LOL…. I did nod off a few times.
I like all your ideas you have for your Journal, they are very helpful. I think I will try to copy some of your ideas. Adding the plant tags will make it a little bulky, I have been putting them in a photo album , and it is pretty big already. Thank you for all you do. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. Enjoy looking forward to 2025
I have started working on planners every years. Coincidentally, I bought a couple a weeks ago a happy planner. I will need to add the separators with pockets because I love the idea to keep the tags in one place. Thank you for another great video!
Great ideas especially in flexibility. I’m mostly digital with a Google calendar for tasks and projects, a word file for long term plans and ideas, another word file arranged by bed including plant lists and pictures of how the bed has changed over time and glamor shots of individual plants. This last file I print and write on during the season and then update the digital file over winter and print a fresh one for the new season. I keep plant tags on key rings organized by bed again.
Merry Christmas ππ
Wow! I didn’t recognize you at first. Gorgeous party look! Always loved your garden calendar and journal ideas.
Great informative video! I’ve been looking at garden journals, wanting to get started on documenting my garden. I do so many annuals, perennials and shrubs, that I’m not always remembering the specifics to my plants. I save my plant tags but have struggled to keep them in an organized fashion. You have some really good ideas. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy your videos and learn so much from you.
I have been waiting for this great video
I love this concept! Thanks! Next, I’ll watch your sister’s channel. Thanks for that recommendation, too! You are both so creative. It must run in the family! πππ
Love all the info! Itβs so satisfying to be able to look back and realize what you have accomplished. Love your channel.
You look so pretty π
This was a very inspirational video πitβs made me realise that I need to get more organised and make some effort with the make up haha hope you have a great party and a wonderful Christmas with your family ππ€Άπ₯°
π
Love your videos and how inspirational they are for me π
You look so lovely! Merry Christmas ππ
Grl I did not recognize you! You look gorgeous! I have been wondering if I want to officially set up a planner situation for my garden and I kept telling myself, ill figure it out with this 3 section notebook that I’ve been using for 2 yrs now. But I like your idea using the Frankenstein method, I could Taylor it to my needs, I need a section for plant notes, planting dates, observation on bugs, growth etc and inventory, the amt of seeds I have is more than I’m willing to admit but I need to have a list so I don’t buy triples! I’m going to use your ideas to set mine up and the plant notes can move from year to year. I also need a good way to take all my plant pics off my phone without deleting so maybe a garden album section ,printing all my best ones

Well, you look gorgeous, Amanda! I hope you have a wonderful night out ! Tis the season and Merry Christmas! My grandmother was a big gardener and now that I have picked up her hobby, I so so wish she had kept a journal that I could read, both for garden wisdom and nostalgia. I have recently started a garden journal and I just LOVE it. I’m still figuring out exactly what I want and need in there, so it’s a work in progress, but such a fun creative outlet like you say. :). I have wondered how to do photos in my journal too. I hope you update on this idea!!! I have thought about those mini polaroid cameras they have for kids now, but a sticker printer would be awesome too. Great ideas, Amanda! Love all your content! Thanks for all you do! Can’t wait for your sister to restock her garden insert!!
